Your annual scout enrollment fee incudes shirt, cap, woggle, and neckerchief. If you have lost an item and wish to replace it, please indicate your sons den and which items you need.

    (Please register your interest by Monday 25th October. We need to make sure we have enough rooms reserved for each family and pay a deposit.)


    We are warmly welcoming all Cub Scouts to a fun and action packed WINTER KANDERSTEG weekend.

     

    We have reserved the lodge accommodation at the Kandersteg International Scout Center (www.KISC.ch). No camping in the snow! This is a family event and all are welcome.

     

    Activities are to be confirmed but may include igloo building, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, curling, sledging and a winter campfire!


    There will be an option to arrive Friday evening (preferred if possible). If coming on the Saturday, you must arrive early so that activities can begin on time.


       

    AGENDA (this is a rough idea. Activities and timings will be confirmed closer to the date)


    Friday 21st January

    - optional arrival for those who wish to avoid the early start on the Saturday!  This carries an extra charge.


    Saturday 22nd January

    - 9:00-10:00: Arrivals at the KISC. Pack your lunch or stop along the way.

    - Activities begin at 10

    - 1800: Dinner at the lodge

    - 1930: Evening activity

     

    Sunday 23rd January

    -0730-0800: Breakfast

    -0830: Activities

    -1200-1400: Lunch 

    -Please plan your departure for after 1500

     

    COSTS: TBC - Accommodation will be 30 CHF per person/per night. (Children under 5 15 CHF per night). Food will be approximately 20 CHF per person. There may be an additional charge for the activities.


    ACOMMODATION: This year it will be slightly different due to covid. The Pack will be reserving individual rooms per family unit.  

     

    You will receive additional information as we get closer to the event including a packing list.
